Mike Dahl
Mike Dahl leads research delivery planning, ensuring research projects move efficiently from initial feasibility through to study delivery. Working across technical, governance and operational teams, he coordinates the planning, resources and delivery processes that enable researchers to access the SDE efficiently and consistently.
Mike brings more than 10 years’ experience in NHS research and development, and before that in pharmacology & lab science. He brings expertise in research governance, project management, operational delivery and service improvement. His work focuses on making complex data-enabled research easier to plan, manage and deliver.
Mike works through the Southampton Emerging Therapies and Technologies Centre (SETT), based at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. SETT provides programme management, research delivery and technical capability for the SDE.
